Mission & Vision
Mission Statement
The mission of Christ the King Academy is to join with families in establishing a foundation of Christ as the preeminent sovereign over every aspect of life.
Christ the King Academy will endeavor to foster an environment in which administrators, faculty, and students draw upon the Bible to shape how they think and apply mature Christian truth to their worship, relationships, education, and the culture. We aim to partner with parents to graduate young men and women who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding.
Our unwavering desire is for students:
-
To do all things unto the glory of God in joyful submission, humility, and gratitude. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
-
To mature in having the mind of Christ by cultivating a natural application of Biblical truth. (Romans 12:2)
-
To distinguish false religion in all forms (Romans 1:21-23) that they would possess true religion by knowing, loving, and finding their identity in the Lord Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 6:5-6, Matthew 16:25)
-
To recognize the foolishness and limitations of worldly influences (Colossians 2:8, Psalm 14:1) as distinct from Biblical truth, and to be firm in resisting evil by nurturing their Christian worldview. (James 4:7)
-
To be well prepared in all situations, wisely applying the tools of learning to attain knowledge. (2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 2:6-12)
-
To reason persuasively and articulate precisely. (1 Peter 3:15)
-
To be socially graceful and spiritually gracious. (Galatians 5:22, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
-
To have a heart for the lost and the courage to dissuade those who are stumbling towards destruction. (Matthew 28:19-20)
-
To know, love, and cherish that which is true, good, and beautiful. (Philippians 4:8)
